a whole day stay

if no one's watching, you are the only person to monitor and response for things happen or stale... I stayed at CSR office for one day, from 8:30 am until 7:00 pm, this is by far the whole day at office probably since 6 months, unless there are task to perform or meeting to hold, I won't be at the office... as I share my viewpoint with many friends. most of boss asked : Where are you now ? instead of What are you doing? it seems caught on site is the way bosses feel comfortable about. but, since no one's watching, I am kind of lose my momentum of work - a very intangible word.

the opening song indicate how we are going to experience the show . When it come to the checker and music rescue me. You know how important Jason told us : play the music ; not work the music !
 Highlight of the show comes to 3 part : his solo acoustics guitar and sing the song : only human . On the keyboard and refresh on his birthday gift song and the arena anthem : I  yours , it turns Taipei Arena to a singing along karaoke !
 Jason learn quite a few mandarin , it help to build the audience intimacy , he play with audience  , with the tune , song and talks , the repertoire sequence is not well designed , so if you are not fully charged , you may falling asleep , strange right ? Compare my first encountering with Jason on his acoustic show in ticc last year.  That was a much warmer offering !
 Sound join me to the concert ! Father and son . Good experience and excellent quality time together !
 Jay - just entertainment is the promoter , walkie entertainment is the ticketing arm.  Jay told me this is their debut little dome program . A lot of pressure ! It's a sold out , what can you expect more ?

music is good as catalyst when sharing , as Jason said   It's intangible but it between you and me! Quote on one line : everyone will hit the wall ; everyone need a call ! Who will call you and who you going to call?

list down things to do in Beijing for Meiling yesterday, and prepare Sound's junior high school entry work. Sound's examination score - 296 with the pr ratio at 58, not much choice for him, I had a long ( compare with what we normally did ) talk with him, picture what he wish to accomplish? yes, he want to go to University, so there are 2 options to achieve the goal : get yourself to the better high school or become a very good student, it seems it leave him the second option now and we have big question about that. why? just observe how he spend time with his HTC smart phone , you will realized the dicipline issue is a big problem, he can't really commit to what he want to do, or lack of will so to speak, if this is what he choose, then he have to accept what future will bring to him. as parent, we can only give advise -- which is not a very good solution, but not replace him and walk the way he is facing.

 Huisui came for a brief talk, for 3 things : update what the project status at ChiFeng with Monita, my role with Tech Art in the future and in regard to independent director position. the fund raising is not complete, so the ID role is not there yet, but she love to extend relationship and build certain collaboration  with me, and willing to pay agent - finder fees even for project like Monita. this is to my surprise. well, when return from London, I will sit down with her and take the role as I wish.

2 days to remember

Today, June 25th,2012, marks the 25th anniversary of my marriage with Meiling – from the day we don’t have a why married, but walked hand in hand to the public accreditation house for announcing husband and wife – for 4 people on the scene, James Chang and Tom Chang were no longer good friend of mine. And we keep our marriage still, even through we were having a family difficulty to overcome together – well, I put Together aside as this is a one way thinking, not a consensus yet. It’s been 25 years since we married. No vows and no promise, I don’t know what keep our marriage still – Love, I really doubt it these days, appreciation and gratitude? Maybe, but I am not 100% sure.
Toda, June 25, 2012, 4 years after I conduct my first invade surgery, place a stent on my left artery exactly 4 years ago. On 2008, I was lucky detected the artery problem founded by Dr. Chen and urgently perform this surgery. It’s like a re-born to me and I have no idea how it impact me until now. It gave me a good reason to resign from LCPC – a place I am not passion with nor happy to work with. Since then, I am more approach to identify who I am instead of What I do. It pave the road to be coach and facilitator , it’s hard to keep the living standard, but it give me a new skill to develop and become an independent service provider – coach after professional manager lead to a door more open.
  Today, I received text message from Daniel Y. who in China support me in identify my next venture and urge me to think what’s crisis ahead and kindly enough to ask my bank account – lending me money for the transition struggle I am facing. But I hav’t heard from him since forward my bank account and it pass the deadline of needed, I checked with a follow up message, not response still, I am a little bit disappointed but there’s nothing to complain with, Daniel flew to Taipei, drove all the way to Tainan and support me to defend my rights in front of M. and willing to discuss my business plan with me… what you can asked more? If no financial aide at this point, should not be the break-up point unless Daniel take his position this way. All the questions in mind come to an end since received his message today, he was sick and he asked my bank account again – the swift code – I am so touched again.. what can we asked more?
 Today in the morning, I receive mail from Matthew, when sent the friendship is greater than anything mail to him, he solve his own problem and I feel relax also. Matthew update me Mr. Allison’s health condition. When learn some of his difficulty from Mark Chen, I decided to make the call and not to let the friendship sours.. we wish to talk and we will find a good space to reconnect.
 I review Martin’s work from FB – He is actually a facilitator – via music to connect with audience and with God – he must be a great facilitator I believe.
 Today, I made love with Meiling in the early morning, I havn’t have sex for a period of time, after the love making, I realize today is our 25th anniversary in marriage and my 4th years after surgery.
 I have another relax afternoon to perform a “ I am alive “ session and I deliver what I will do with Ambassador Hotel Group with full confidence – I am ultimately get the coaching deal – and according to Angeli – a short and sweet session.
 2 days before… the day I managed to perform a qualified facilitator during the final judging panel at 23rd Golden Melody Award – among 20 professionals, I don’t have chance to use my golden vote , not even once. All the consensus were built within 3 rounds of voting – what I did:
1. re-state the etheric and honest protocol
2. promote the full discussion before voting:
- if anyone volunteering to begin, let the ball roll
- if none of the panel willing to speak out . pick the person to open sharing or guiding first
- manage time and emotion
- Keep the long meeting a fun and interested session
- show my appreciation all the time
- on the latter and critical moment – remind how our decision impact on Key Stakeholders at large
By 6:00 pm, we were line up outside Little Dome – the stadium held the award ceremony, I am the Panel in General, so, I am obliged or honored to walk the red carpet with Minister of Culture – Miss Long Yi Tai – a new minister and new dept since May 20th. Yes, there are spot lights on my almost bold head. Long have one wish – don’t let me fall, she asked if I have the experience – my answer is , yes, once in my wedding. It rains hard, but all the camera capture us..
 It’s a good show on the ceremony event. Excellent production and great outcome – I don’t really mind how others see the finalist of the best male / female vocal, best album and best new talent. The consensus were built already and the judging system improve year by year. There is a break during the live broadcasting and I have my another 90 seconds of famous. MC Tain Shin asked my how was the panel session going.. I came out with only 3 sentence :
 Judges were fully discussion before voting
 The consensus for the final result is very high
 Judges have high comment on all the participant and the music they deliver last year.
I am not sure how it goes with the media collective interview – by 10:00 pm, I am escort to deliver the final outcome before end of the ceremony, yes, since I am the only one ( other than GIO staff ) who obtain the result, I am responsible to answer question from the media.. I think I have done a better way to explain how the process goes and what goes right and nothing related to personal or bias – if there’s bias, it’s a group bias and it’s based on the rule / regulation and the works which apply for the award challenge.
 Some said I look handsome from TV , some said I am great from Newspaper, I am not care about any critic about panel or result, and it’s a gone thing.
 2 days to remembers, My re-born day and 25th anniversary ; The 23rd GMA and the reclaim under spot light.

Mongolia retreat and HK Retreat

Spent 3 days at Mongolia, a very peaceful and refresh moment to me, under the circumstance of borrowing money, don't know which way to go, mess up with marriage and many many life challenge, this is the moment give me the feeling of peace, calm and purify. I didn't expect much before landing to UB - as I am only be the assistant to Tim - who promote and design the Forum Shuffle for the Regional Forum Retreat, I am thinking to play and relax. taking China Southern Airline from Shanghai to Seoul then taking Mongolia Airline to UB for 3 hours. I didn't get the boarding pass from Shanghai, so, I have to pick it up at the airport of Seoul, last minutes, I check the baggage and take on my first experience to Mongolia. I impression about Mongolia earlier is : it's a country heavily promo tourism and foreign investment, a country take the jump step to developing world. well, the BU airport is a little bit disappointment, it's old and not function well. pretty much like a 3 world airport. The driver who came to pick me us show me the sign board, he don't speak English, but from the sign board, I knew we are waiting for another YPOer- a lady, then she comes, Noni from Indonesia. we spoke on our way to hotel - Blue Sky - a perfect match to my first impression in BU - blue sky. First night is the welcome night , I met Mongolia members ans witness the inauguration of YPO Mongolia chapter - the welcome cocktail and the brief introduction getting people to know each other, Bat - the chapter chair have 3 wishes for us : 1. Enjoy as much as Mongolia as possible, 2, Meet new friend as much as possible. 3. Drink Mongolia Volka as much as possible . we were at IVY restaurant - a French restaurant for dinner. the Minister of Environment , Resource and Tourism came for the session and deliver a great speech, how he see Green Economy of Mongolia. I had a good conversation with Oggie - the formal head of Foreign Invetment who is now an entrepreneur in UB, building houses and doing other investment. Oggie share his knowledge with me. such as the total population is 2.8 million, it's a democratic country since 1990, now they have 11 political parties, major top 2 control the Pariment , and among the 6 inaugrat members from Mongolia, 2 of them is running election now. well, probabely the person who run the YPO run the country as well. GM of IVY restaurant Julia is a handsome guy, he move from Shanghai to UB in 2008 and told me Fine Dinner is not a well-taken habit in UB. we enjoy the night, the Horse-head Fiddle and throat singing artist, Contractor performance and the gift from Chapter - Volka. 2 forum moderator in one day is quite intensive and energy consumption. in the morning I attend PRD forum meeting, met Jonathan, Michael Lu / Vincent Lin / William / David Puh the first time - and we had a good morning session. the Shuffle is a good exercise. in the afternoon, we have Vincent and William stayed with me and bring in Munk from Mongolia , Chi Hoon from Korea, Nakamura-san from Japan, another great session. by 5:30 pm we taking the bus to the real Mongolia - the suvburd, outside UB, it take us 90 minutes there and we are trilled by the nature beauty of Mongolia. stayed in the GER located in one National Park. facing grass plain and back by cliff rock mountain, you see Yak , sheep, goat, horse and Eagles, unknown birds flying , just around you. when notice there will be 3 person stay in one Ger, I have a little bit worry, as my snoring is somewhat disturbing people, I take a prevention action, to inform room mate - Sonny from Korea and Tim - the Facilitator during the Mongolia BBQ dinner. Dinner last very long, follow with a walk to the hill and return to bonfire and sharing... this is amazing. Luka is a professional photographer who I like it very much , he took some good shot for me. we went to Ger around 11:30, no showing, no changing cloth, just sleep. the Ger resort service lady light the wood fire for us and warm the room inside, I managed not to disturb my roommate and don't know how it works. June 16 is the best day, woke up 6:30 am, a roughy washing and take my first experience on horseback ride. he horse boy is helping me and lead the horse, but as I am so unprofessional, i scrap my bud and the skin falling , so, I could not finish the whole program but to enjoy the first half routine. we then visit the Giant Jen Kinshand stainless statue. so huge and we take a look inside and learn a few things about this mystery great person. the maint activity for the day is to visit 13 century park to learn the life and work in ancient Mogolia days - first is the postman cmap , then the King's camp where we have lunch and enjoy another performance, the shaman camp is a holy place, where we see the united 24 tribes and 6 different camp. The herald camp is the most enjoyable one, you get to close to the dialy living of the Nomad Mogolia, I had the chance to be inimated with little horse - 10 days old and little sheep - one month, it felt so great to natually contact with little animals. Archery is another entertaining event. after all these dust and sand trip, the only thing members wish to do is take a good shower, it take another 2 and half hour back to hotel and the Blue Sky shower is so great. Dinner at Monet - another fine diner restaurant at City Club, the program is even amazing - during the middle course is Model show - yes and the ending is the band performance and drink. I return to hotel around 11:30 pm and learn Sound graduate and make his own way back home. it's a good Mongolia retreat to me. really. I am not sure if Daniel will lent me 2 millions NT, if Ryne buying my plan in set up my company or....I better have my own plan. goal and don't forget the DREAMS

IOU the first time

I made an IOU to Patrick and borrow my first 1 millions NT from friend yesterday, this is different from Dicky and James who make my first borrowing Dicky : 2 millions and James 1 millions NT. Patrick is nice to me, the whatsapps communication went so quick that I hardly believe he make such a swift decision to lend me the money.I make an statement of receipt and mark the March 31 2013 the payment due day. Melody come to my office and let me know the insurance load I can exercise is about 2 millions. this is my last resort, the money for my survival fund. she is right about this, I know but I can't change or I don't have the will to change. this is perfectly reflect to the book I bought from Eslite on Sunday : the regionals ... by Allen De Botton. the regelion knows change is so difficult, so they make people repeatly read and do things routine.

Last trip in Beijing

2012.05.23 I am flying in Beijing on the 23rd by 7:30 pm, Mr. Cheng this driver who also pick my Meiling on her last trip came to the airport, I asked where I can withdraw cash – any bank vendor machine at the airport, I was pointed to the HSBC bank, just in the morning, I went to E-Sun bank for the international – cross boarder withdraw account and password application. I didn’t know how much I withdraw, the limit for one access is 2500 RMB, I think I operate it at least 8 times, I am afraid I don’t have enough cash for the housing rentals. Check in Rose dale hotel by 8:30 pm, where I met Mr. Dio – the real estate agent, I was going to check the site before the contract signing the following morning, but having eat, I told him to wait for me until feed my stomach , by 9:00 pm, Robert – my brother in Beijing arrived and meet me. We go to the site by walking – it’s call “ Twin Tower “, Meiling did a good job, manage to get the best price – RMB 11000 / month with a 160 square feet and 3 bed rooms service apartment – next to The Upper East Traders – a 5 start hotel, it took less than 30 minutes from the Capital airport , this is another advantage for me. Well, I like it , the only problem I see is the door – you have to push and pull so hard , otherwise you can’t really open or close it – this is a bad design, the precise problem is there, if you are older or weaker, you will have problem with the door. I didn’t do much of the house checking as I believe the Link – the real estate company will do it for me. And it’s pretty late, I have to review what I need to do for “ Millennium Vision Technology “ – robert’s company for their management team communication training . Robert sent me back to the Rose Dale, we stood outside the hotel and share for about an hour, about how he found Mark Chen a person of uniqueness and her wife – and yes, I met Mark just at the entrance of the Gate C2 – Taoyuang airport, we are taking the same flight to Beijing, I haven’t see him for years and I just arrange and engage Lucy and Mark for his speech at YPO Beijing Educational Program, I greet my thanks you in person and we talked , he said : Roger, you are a nice guy , my response is : Yes, I know, Mark, but I can’t help to keep it that way “ to be a nice guy is a nature born problem / attribution to me. And we talk about GINO – the alien from outer space and he knew him and told me GINO is a GOOD Alien – in other words, there are bad Alien also, as we shared, he disclose many interesting information to me and how he connected to Rockefeller and Buffet family – they all experienced with the previous life and next life charm and now want to connect with people who have greater mission – Mark’s couple is one of them, and it seems that I am in connection now, I will see Mark next week in Beijing. What Robert inspired me is how he wish to provide training and growth energy to the people who work together with him – from the bottom of his heart, he want them to be happy and to pursue happiness, a great mind, and he share with me to keep a “ Correct Mind “ is the first thing he do, next will be to Purify what he want to do, with no second thought , do it as pure as possible, this is truly a powerful insight to me and it lead me to a “ Do it better for MVT “ Tomorrow. Met with Diau and learn the singing party – Mrs. Chung – the lawyer on behalf of the landlord can’t make it on time and it give me room to set up my bank card – for saving and for withdraw convenience , this is the result :  Bank card from China Bank  Sign the leasing agreement with no internet access, broken gas stove and some unhappy feeling  Manage to conduct a Forum like Corporate executive training for MVT – Robert’s company and I think the score is 9 plus  Buy some noodle and thinking of my first home cooking, but since the gas stove can’t work, I have to go to Lido for my Tai fried rice  First night at the apartment, kind of lonely and yes, not so use to it  Cable TV function don’t work. May 25 Buying my first domestic tickets from Citrip website with a bargaining price, I flight the 7:30 morning flight to airport and get up by 5:00 am, it’s my first time using Terminal 2 – domestic terminal to Shanghai. It’s a very time consuming way to find my hotel in Shanghai – Chen Kao Hotel. Arrived at Hung Qiao Terminal 3 and then I take the MRT 9 transfer at Shanghai Railway station ( Line 4 ) , then take Lin 1 at the Shu Cha Hui station, landing by 10:00 am, but checking in the hotel close to 12:00 noon. Prepare some working document for Qui Xu and I feel happy about it. Going to Hu Chng Chang for Chinese massage before the ERIC / Shanghai Forum meeting, the master is not as good as Master Lee at Beijing. I came back to hotel for the coffee and wait for the dinner. The dinner was arranged by Qui Shen, Andy can’t fulfill his promise as before, he imitative this meeting and can’t even come for join the second day dinner – which he made for the compensation dinner for not able to attend the first night discussion and diner.. Andy must be a man who can’t control himself. Chairman Wu is the person who Quisen invite to share about health care product business in China – he is so knowledgeable that draw us a few must do: 1. get the health care product license is essential – it took 2 years and the bar is raising higher and higher each year, as it concern the health issue, government officer reluctant to issue new license, they keep asking you to provide more lab / experimental statistic, increase your cost but delay the timing for issue the approval. 2. marketing is the key : since you can’t speak out loud about the effect on curing some disease , this is a food instead of medicine, you are limit to do a few marketing thing so, those who censer your advertising is the key to make a difference. And the marketing cost is huge in China. 3. distribution , another task to perform in such a big market 4. Importing or transfer of technology : no one done is before, may give is a try 5. Co-op with local health care company for leverage or cross-sell its royal customer Ming bought a club member at Star Club – we were there for drink, I can’t stay longer so get the money – yes Haibo did bring all the retreat reimbursement to me all at once. Cheng Ho Hotel was hospitality by Quenshen, we appreciate his treatment again. Stayed at executive floor and enjoy a good night. Fishman brought me a gift, not so impressive, I should stop purchase from it. May 26 I sit up very late on 25th – up until 3 am, solve W’s issue and bring a settlement as much as I can. Wake up at 7:30 , having breakfast with Eric and John and share what I know about the consumer marketing campaign Sun Way is going to kick off on June 11, I talked for 2 hours, I return and finish my Ambassador Hotel Group contract and having lunch with Vicky – former So-net PR manager who is now working in Shanghai in her professional field – PR. She may help me to build some media connection , so see what happens. Stayed at COSA coffee and complete the contract and went for the dinner at Dian She Tsai – the Traditional Shanghi restaurant, I stayed for 30 minutes and heading for Hung Ciao airport – for taking a 8:25 pm flight back to Beijing, my first experience with Hai Nan airline, not bad, it took 2 and half hours back, return to my apartment by 11:30 pm, the female driver is not a good driver, complain all the way about the short distance and the no where address. It wasn’t a pleasant experience. May 27 This is the day for attending Chun Hwa’s wedding at Beijing Mariorrt hotel – my first time to attend wedding in China. The schedule time is from 10:30 am, so, I was there, Meijing is bad to me and send very ugly message, I try not to be inflected by her. Guess who I met first at the wedding ? Monita – yes, try to pretend nothing happen, she is not so natural , of cause, especially when Eric told me Monita is souring material from him in Taiwan – this give me another smile. Chung Hwa and Si Yun’s wedding is the first wedding I ever attend in China. It suppose to be a beautiful story if Antonio’s wedding song can be sung at the ceremony, but due to his childish, all the good things soured and there’s no friendship continue for Antonio and Chun Haw, this is wired to me. All the good intention turn to bad result. I don’t know why. Thanks for Monita’s presence, I leant to prepare the Red Envelop as the wedding gift, cash is the king, for getting the lucky number, I offer 800 RMB for the meal, on the reception desk, they do prepare spare red envelop for guest , and you know what, the envelop is not the standard size, it designed with wider open and you can insert more than 10,000 RMB ( 100 in stack ), this is a new thing to me also. Wedding production going quite well, the micro movie is a good one and this is a good production. I left earlier and went for no where. I forget where to? Yes, went home but can’t
