Dinner conversation with David Sheu

I am invited to join Spirox board as independent director : a honor and learning to me.

 3 hours dinner conversation covered most of the past - how David reclaim Spirox and fix problem seeded 3 years ago. I am surprise to learn many issues burst out of my surprise . I don't know why but take it as another life lesson.

 David told me there is no one down and he is taking up almost all the vp role . Following is what in his mind :

1. A healthy model ( profit and sustain )

2. People and org Developement 

3. Trust of culture 

4. Vision 

Without the healthy model , there is no way to talk about vision .

I had a feeling about Spirox and willing to take the challenge with David -- 

I miss Hsing chu also - HSR 31 minuts from taipei railroad station - connect MRT to Jingmei for another 20 minutes . 

 CTC is the module I can introduce and make a significant contribution ( communication ; trust ; consensus ) 

No procrastination today

Complicate situation in Hubert

As far as I can see - Hubert need a big jump start :

1. New investment : other than A - Cut. The rest of new initiative ROI may take longer then expect ( include 1 bite 2 go ; andentee ; A Zone ; biiednest ; wine ...)

2. Management in both zone : ambassador and shelin development ( especially the shareholders' vision and mission )

3. Healthy communication between brothers 

How dose it feel

It's not a small bug , but a big centipede who bite me late last night - the sting woke me up by 3:30 in the morning .

In the bevining , I don't know what bite me , but the pain force me to take a shower and I saw the thumb growing fat - and some blood left with hot burning pain . 

 I have to wake Meilijg up and finally we discover the centipede hiding inside my sleeping bag - we have to kill it and brought it to the hospital with me - it's second degree outer pain when checking in th ir room .

 I was giving an injection and take medication - falling aleep when retuning to the cottage my father live and that's the place brings me another unfortable memories .

I am a little bit upset in the very beginning - 3 of the attendee falling asleep in the first 5 minutes ( they are executives in the company ). I decided to swift mood to " communication starter " with " if you really knew me .... " and it works right away ... Empathy grows and by the time I introduce " what's your dream " and incorporate with trailer from " old bike " documentary - they are all in tears and soft -- I made it again in a tough begin and continue to mastery my facilitation process. They are even closer than last time and that's Jan. 9 . Way before Chinese New Year .

Conduct 11th ambassador coporate forum - since many team conflict took place after Chinese New Year . And almost all the issue were surfaced before . So we set the theme as " resolve conflict ; from surface to solution "

First contact with Sean

Prepare politician coaching material in advance - didn't secure time to review and rush in my first coaching inteodiction with Sean . It's a complaining and ralaxing session .

Sean have many friends are YPOer . The first politician - Taipei City Major election candidate and future KMT party star . I spend like 5 minutes in the 60 minutes session and do most is listening.

 Finalized my syllabus for xinwei class : I enjoy the titles and themes : " around the world with one book " - I am planing to introduce Forum ( Peer Learning Group ) for them - to commit 15 contact hours before June 6 is a challenge .

 Lunch for the top consemcese - Hubert ; Frank ; Angeli and me - learning and draw conclusion about him:

-- not able to stand bothering or harresment .

-- no patience in operation and detail

 I did a private session with him before Sean to explore : the not-to-remember syndrome . For this I am really concerned 

  Dinner with YPOer - Philip ; Ken ; Eric ; Gary and Daniel - Eric Tseng spent too much time to please many others and tried to organized golfing and outing . I don't really know ...

 At " really great " cafe - Daniel sigh off the forum works shareholder agreement / a new beginning for us and a new horizon to explore .

 I decline his massage invitation - I do wish he can be home earlier ...

Actually , I like Perth and I love my forum . Pino can't make it this time and maybe rest of the years . I do enjoy everything here

TAIPEI keep me working : I didn't coming back on Monday as I flip to second run movie and lost the organied mind - thanks to Yi Hwa who share Evernote and it bring me back to the " project management " mindset and following is my " reflective "

Hunchew and ZH EC forum

It's been at least decade since my last visit to hunchew - thanks to alibaba group and the EC cluster which turn it to a modern and viibrate city. 

Landed late but bobo took me to a very good restaurant " grandmother's house " where it located at Westbrook wet land park - I met a few of the attendee and get a feel of how it goes - they put me at the near by modern hotel .

 The morning forum femdemtnal didn't go well - I was blackout for about 10 minute all in blank. Yes , I conquer it in the afternoon and establish a forum in China . 

Bobo rent jack Ma - alibaba's club for the one day training - a very nice garden club and with delicious food.

 It's a very exhausted day - I spend snohr one hour to conduct a one hour personal coach for bobo. 

The next day - sleep late and have lunch at bobo's house . To meet his parent and to acquired with his 2 business partner . 

Bring back 65000 RMB in cash : I am worried about the custom , thank god I pass it.

It's a great film and good artists - the story is so good to support all the role in this Korean history movie .

 Met river yesterday - it's a long while / should be more than 3 years - he is doing the same but tent to be soho now . Didn't feel much about it ..

 Second run movie last night : donar is a good film and the legend of hulexic was so entertaining ...
