A day with Yu Kwang in Taichung
Take 12:30 pm HSR to Taichung , arrived by 13:19, ate my lunch box on the train - the famous Taiwan railroad lunch box but not HSR lunch box.
Yu greet me at exit B1, he drive a new Lexus CVS , smile and grey hair . 69 years old now and we havnt been really update for 9 years : the break point come to his convert fully to Christian and my lunch of CSR country . It depart both of us and it defenetely throws some trivial stones to our friendship ! I received his " are we friend or enemy ?" message to me last week and I decides to take this trip to see him.
Yu relocate to Taichung 3 years already . He show me the unusual experience about Taichung : see how they sell the house . I see the sample house : a real house with exactly the same measure of the house and miss yen show me and introduce me how the house is going to present ! Until the end of the trip , I asked how many of them left unsold ? No is the answer. The pre-sell done on the same say thy announce to build it - so classic and do unbelievable - the construction company build 10 project in 20 years , every case is master piece , no wonder Yu want to show me around
Next step is to his new house . We're he bought 3 years ago. At the nation fine art museum . Another master piece and even more details on the construction ! The quality is too good to believe .

This is a new brand out out Ambassador Hotel , integrated with creative and art flavor - Hubert pet project to spin off at the 50 years of establish A hotel .
Teresa was hired for prepare the Hotel and to run it - for the second part. It seems not clear to both party . Teresa has proven track record in developing new hotel for owners and experience more than 10 project 20 years ago !

40 minutes walk decrease my blood sugar , sitting in aubergine kung kwang store ( translate to eggplant curry ), I feel hungry now.

The old Korean jelly fish ( squad ) vendor is an old memory of mine ! I used to buy 2 for my mother when I was between College : my 4th year at institution after senior high school ! Back to the old days. The entry rate for attending university is around 30% So if you fail to enroll , then you have 2 choices : apply institution for coming year examination or join the army ! That's old taste and old memory !

The dream is vivid : mr Han come to see me - yes on his wheelchair ( I am not 100% sure ) and greeting me Asked about Meiling and wish to eat " pig leg ", yes . At the age of 81 under his health condition . I asked my wife to prepare the meal for him. ! But I recurve fellow colleague call that he pass away the next day
I should visit mr han next week can to take my commitment to see Yu kwang at Taichung on next Wed.

Master Huang arcuppnd and massage
Taking a 90 minutes massage last night ! Lucky to make appointment with master Huang : the chief master at the center - a Foundation for blind man run social enterprise - Hu kang massage center
On the last 10 minutes I asked how he check my body ! Huang said : good. Not many people here can really take his deep tissue massage ! I am he seldom few who can really take his full strength and enjoy it ... He told me he is happy to perform full strength ! So do I !
Back home for a good night sleep

Gary doing his best to support his brother not even care about the overall image of 5 star hotel : if you are member of YPO and know him well :
1. In the room : the boot drink provided were from Bobby's company
2. At the lobby bar : the korean soft drink were from bobby as well
3. Mall : display product of Esoterism . Via the introduction of Ryan
4. Second floor : the biz centre alter to a game center with the flavor of albet or his company gammania
5. First floor book store : chin shu cafe by tsu chi were introduce by AJ
6. Flying partner : Trans Asia airline owner is Vincent

Park view hotel assessment
The assignment taken after training in Macau and one discussion with Gary !
I decided to take my first trip right after ambassador consensus forum training !
This is the first time in the history of park view hotel someone ever conduct the assessment and interviewing session with them - after 18 years in operation!
Peter Chan who is brother in law with Gary . Now almost 60 who burned himself when supervising the construction of Park View hotel ! With a new face full of scars , he share with me how difficult to overcome the inferior feeling and facing the world ! It took him one and half years under 6 plastical surgery ! Peter gave his life to park view and in return he live in park as well !
2 of the most spoken mangers I interview with worked with my YPO fellow members before . One with AJ at accton and one with Mark at DaChan in China , those who see the world outside Huilien have difficulty to live the park view culture !
Old and loyal senior employees seeds satisfy with life in Huilien and park view !
David is the vp in park view, the highest rank office running the show together with Peter!
Gary seldom visit Huilien , Non of the hr dept. were hr major nor did they taken any hr training on the job , it's a local build and local run operation !

Meditation banner and Mindy meeting
I saw the banner outdid one old apartment . It's like Tibet sutra.
The meeting at Estorism deal with some key issues :
1. Victor : do I like what I do or capable of doing ? The dilemma between entrepreneur or operation officer .
2. The future / exit strategy : to b to c : consumer market or to buy - in : investor market or capital market ?
3. The brand spokesman : a what befor how : raise by victor and discuss among roger / Steve : cost of doing is key
4. Victor Wu creatively brain drain : like a tap water or pressing tooth paste ?
5. Next run of money : to build the operation capability not for other means , how to review the organizational development need and build the marketing / sales Musile
We will carry another meeting bu Friday before propose to Ryan! I don't have my Friday morning session !

Learning from corporate forum yesterday
1. People won't familiar with update form in the first place : need practice
2. For the first run, there is no previous update to retrieve
3. The thing I have done but you don't experience before is a good whirlpool games for open ice breaker , it trigger a river for connection
4. Too many slide and no able to ttrai 4 protocols and not able to conduct a few exercise
5. Protocol practice not enough . Participant don't really know how to accept / question / feedback and sharing
6. Corporate issue can be explore in an open way and become the good general topic for presentation and coach

Ambassador pilot forum - A-Team done
It begin 9 o'clock sharp and finished by 5:30 pm. One hours more than schedule time !
I did a 45 minutes opening - an extra long opening and follow with protocol and module - to cut some slide for fitting our schedule - I eliminate how to speak and how to listen porting and not able to demonstrate what is forum protocols and how it apply to our meeting : listen / accept / question and sharing !
Overall soaking , the converted corporate version can work or at least build some consensus among high ranking officers .
Angeli do 2 things to color my session : how you wish to have others call you ? 3D group photo and ending outdoor BBQ !

First time we have bobby join as independent director . Good to hear something different.
First time Steve miss the meeting but victor do a good Job to lead the meeting .
Money trouble is there still . Sep should be a capital raising month for them .
Milestone achievement is the prove of management commitment and execution ! And how to increase Capitol but not to decease management motivation is critical . It's a good strategic thinking

Sound fail to help her mother do the junk last night : he had no heart to perform it and always find his point to fight back , I know the blind spot in he will someday bring him big trouble . But I have way to convince him change this bad habit - it might be in his DNA which I mine also ! How many years I tried to corrects own behavior . Now see him this way ?

Stay up late with sound
Feel like home yesterday evening ! Meiling came to office pick me up! Surprise to see sound come alone and with a poker face ! I knew something wrong but not check it until we went to the Ben don store . Sound told me the lovely tree he planted had been pull out . It's a side action the tree expert did for our garden . As we need to move a tree from the wall - it penetrate and soon will break down our wall ! The nice old man spend 3 hours ( according to Meiling ) clean up our little garden and move away all the weed he presume ! Sound is sad . He plate it and watch it grow ! So the big quarrel begin
After the dinner box bought . I offer a solution to rent some movie . I want to introduce the Korea file " arrow of war " and we are interested in viewing the grade dictator's previous work : Borat . We finish both film by 1:00 am

World Mansion
Again from the office I saw world mansion . The place where I met Peter Chang the first time : at Himalaya records and Peter - my mentor in music industry give me a change to translate and publish my first book! The platinum ! I miss him and of course Mrs. Change - I lost contact with her for so long!
