From Huilien to Tairung : It's an amazing trip
1. To follow the highway 11 : the pacific highway from Huilien to Taituang, we stop by 6 places :
-- the resting area where you can oversee the ocean from the mountains and I bought a local magazine.
--she te ping : the riff coast where I spot 2 years ago and alway want to bring Meiling to see . It remind me of Kim who took me to know She Ser / She te ping .
-- little pony church : this is to pay my tribute to the missionary who contribute great effort to less resource aboriginal people in east coast and passed away in the land they love , I was inspired when reading the " ocean coast Swiss in Taiwan " and fly to the church / chapel the first time and to our big surprise , a black Toyota stop 10 seconds before us and I saw Stantly Yeng get out of the car : we had a brief chat , so brief and I introduced Meiling to him .. we pay our gratified with a bow : since the church is not open , we don't know how to donate but to share the story .
-- Tung He pork dumping: one of the famous dumping now become a scenic spot for tourist - I bought and ate 2.
-- Dulan old sugarcane refinery factory : its a private run culture site now .. the " information desk " wasn't so friendly , never mind .
-- Taituang agricultural product center located at Chi Pen hot spring Zone : we buy some local delicacy as home gift.
Arrive at royal hotel Chi pen by 2:30 pm and this is the place we visit 20 more years ago and we were cheated by a " deer horn " seller who ( a lady ) convince us the great effect on body - we were like been drugged and find an ATM withdrew all our savings - 100.000 NT for buying the deer horn with wine ... we were so believe in a bargain deal .. and Meiling and I laughing talk about it today ..

Planning for years and now We are about to kick off - it ain't any Grand Trip , it won't be mental or physical challenge, it's a " To do together before it's too late " decision . Simply and hope for the sweet .
As we bought many Royal Hotel coupons last year , we check it's location islandwide and make the plan around it : Yi Lan Chiao Xi Royal - Huilien A Zone ( our own ) - Taituang Chi Pen Royal - Tainan Royal and Shinchu Royal as our final stop on Friday night .
It's 8:40 am : 2 more coaching before we go , we set the start off time by 15:00 pm ..
My luggage was packed: and my mood is ready and I will reset my expectations: just to be with Meiling for whole week ,,

I buy a breakfast combo at sungshan store , the clerk is kind enough to ask if I want to " upgrade " my latte from middle to large , I say " please "
The bill is 200 in total , kind of expensive so I ask if I am buying the morning breakfast package? He said yes and I point to the menu and show him " the package with middle cup is 150 , how come upgrade to large is 200 ? "
My following question is : if I buy one middle is how much : 120 he said ,.ana large ? 135 ,,it's only 15 NT different but when they ask you to upgrade your coffee , they change you 35 NT more , it don't make any sense .. right ? I didn't ask for anything but to explain to the clerk he should remind customer the price difference before charges them .
I don't really get it .

Freeze wasn't build in one night -- Roman wasn't build in one day .
" short term " can be interpreted as " short sighted " as professional manager you deem to be a passenger : either define by yourself or by others . So the assignment and alignment won't come to an 100 % march .
If any owner seed the " short term " mindset about you , it's almost impossible you will be granted to control everything in the company . And If you also work in a short sighted mood - you only care about short term performance and it's obvious that you will take any opportunity as stepping stone to you next goal - level .
