Almost caught by airport immigration police

I took photos as usual at any Airport before , but not aware the warning sign of " no picture taking " in front of the check in immigration - I take the " death penalty " billboard and was call by the inspector - he question 3 times why I take the picture and tell me there is a " punishment " I play innocent and reply this is my habit do it everywhere , he finally let me go and ask me return to my line - the truth is I am at the first few before he call me - so I back and see him the second time - this time , he question me why cut the line . I have to explain to him it's my turn and it happen to be his gate is open now -- so ... Not a good Sunday for him !

Luckily the hotel pick up was there and I am on my way now - new Bali experience

 

SEE TW first meeting

Charles have character : meal with wine , lunch and dinner , he wish to get things done and we speed up the meeting session then complete it by 14:20.

Landis hotel always have great food , it distract meeting sometimes - Bengo is good to me and everyone is so keen in sharing their experiences !

To begin with my observation and start check in by watching : seek first to underspend then to be understood !

Listening is about to understand , not for react or respond and I then 

1. Explain the feedback model : 3 reality / intention and effect / behavior base public area discussion

But after forum lunch burst out a " not alright communication " between E and S , I use what Leon Lai said in his album Lai in his press conference : promotion fees is to be used , not for promotion purpose . So with this metaphor , I share with everyone : what forum provide is to be apply to work and life , not on the class - forum meeting only .

HK TF day 2

I volunteer to take the ice breaker in the morning with the emotion component / it's a " not alright " exercise and that follow with Jorge's " heal your wound " do bring the transformation to feeling level -- and it last until end of the workshop - I am happy - enjoy and fill compete ! 

Transformational forum experience in HK

I don't think it work out today , why ? This is a head question instead of heart :

1. J is too talkative about personal story and try to link it with YPO experience , there is a gap

2. I can only deliver by the agreeable session.  Can't play a complementary role at workshop 

3. Some participant is absent minded - it brings to disappointment !

4. J is working too hard trying to get things done ! I am not sure if this follow the heart 

5. Lengthy talk and not to create more group sharing didn't bring me to the circle !

Better do better tomorrow ! For TF , if I have a doubt , it won't work for anyone else !

How to create an innovate team building program everyone is happy to pay

No budget is the ultimate period sentence I hear over and over in Regent , it's nothing wrong , but it's too easy to make you giving up - then you lose your passion , driver and you become silence and going to the office for a " job " 

When taking ivy's invitation for design a team building program for Regent sales team - I am involved in the " no budget " scenario - I want to demonstrate a " 3rd alternative " and build a win-win thinking , I am thinking some innovate way for convincing every stakeholders : 

1. HR department should know the training provided will result to a low turn over - high morales and exceeding sales performance 

2. Chairman should know is not a firework in a flesh , but to provide a change seed for hard to find talent in the hotel market : sales 

3. Sales team should know even out of their own pocket - if any training and developing can bring a sustainable growing to them . They see willing to invest on them self

4. For trainer like me : I am willing to take the bet on the end result for better return and to measure by overall sales performance and retention but not only measure by the after workshop survey 

Then I will produce my " market price " for the 3 days programs and take no advance on that and see how the 4 party involved willing to make a investment on the program ! 

To convince Steven : it's a tool provide and seed moderator / to bring forum a corporate culture to all / a module to the extend to all function and extended to other property !

I was there ahead of time , Steven arrived on time and the ceremony beings - so I didn't get the chance to say hello in person - but saw many faces - sherry / elite / know / ivy / Cindy / tony / Patrick / Fumei / Morton / Amy and VIP joyclyne and Linda!

Lunch with Morton / Fuimei and run into Arjen - so we pull out chair together it !

Orientation with Arjan is good - he met with Jason via linkin and recruited by Steven . From Dutch with entrepreneur flavor . Should be a good CEO candidate

   

Regent strategic meeting day 2

A very positive feedback from Steven last  night after my " consensus workshop " session - I am a bit surprise on how he feels is that way ? Or my workshop works for them ? At lease I knew that I can deliver the product and make it a good program to roll out with Professor Lee : as what Lee inform about the corporate communication / consensus issues or " trust " and " change " development . I am happy to walk the right way and follow my heart !

Too many consultant spoils the soups also -- owner are from H... : quote what Winston Churchill said : keep going ! 

The consensus building block is not process as what rules guide , but never mind. As long as people sharing and listen  , my job is done half ! 

When fortune teller say

Meilijg can't get rid of what fortune teller said and challenge my sarcastic on her not doing mothers job well and not able to making any contribution to the family !

As it emphasis : the best way to predict future behavior is past behavior . How it apply to corporate and personal coaching ?

1. Change is so difficult so we forecast the successful change of behavior is way lower then normal situation , we had a relatively high winning way on predict future behavior .

2. 180 degree of changing is what'a imprint in our mind , but is we narrow the angel - say begin with a 30 degree change , we have more confidence on that .

3, what preventing us from changing behavior ? The comfort zone / habitual domain ? Think about safe zone before comfort zone .

4. It's not how you feel  but how people see : declare your changing plan . Action with aide of coach . Set milestone in changing . Celebrate on small success . Announce you done it . Repeat and taking new change goal ( a better cycle )

Leisure Sunday

It's been a long while I have not bring my leisure weekend back - especially with Meilijg , we make it today !

A 50 minutes cycling ease my guilt of over eating - so , we heading for turtle how Village for the favorite seafood.  Meiling wish to try some vendor outside.    So we didn't order too much food on San Ming restaurant and save some stomach for nice grilled seafood outside !

And YANICK desert and coffee after meal is a great supplement !

 On our way back , I went for body massage and here I am - at Cha Cha theater for second run movie - Lincoln is what I want to see and Daniel Day Lewis is the actor I always admire

  

Big day

Just finish my attendance to Christopher and Debra's wedding - son of Ryan ! Seat with Hochen and next to Bob - acquainted today and Professor Lee - my NTU professor : it seems coaching and peer network is a trend he see ! YPO TPO members' turn our high - Ryan is a good buddy !

What keep me thinking ? Ryan' affair and child outside and who I saw at Park View Huilien last Nov make me hard to believe he pave the marring a sincere and spiritual position ! Living one with chi hung

The last session before call it a day is coaching session with chi hung - he pick living one restaurant as our venue - a new place to explore , nice place and relatively good food.  But not an idea place for coaching - or not a good timing for coaching !

 CH said after the coaching , he feel great and I follow with another question : does it means I can sell my product now ? CH smile at me then response : if for the doctor circle , it's not easy since do hotel are so ego driven !

 We had a good session , follow my story about the conversation I heard over the breakfast and how I facility sound and myself for "what ""how" and eliminate " why ""who" for build the consensus !

The truth about dishonesty

Dan Ariely's book reading this morning , after a very brief breakfast with Fruit at NY Bagel, it's too brief to touch upon anything we can communicate , refund her transportation and school assignment   Up to 2200 and wire transfer the delay payment for her tuition this semester - 50440, and we order then she left !

  The table next to me is another picture : mother brought her daughter to breakfast , they update and sharing , covered many aspect of life - grandmother will go to surgery next Friday and grandpa need to perform Kidney blood circulation at the same day ; how the mother worked at security company as sales and pay parent allowance every month until now , encourage her daughter to go her own way and join to give elder brother a you-are-excellent applauded , them they turn the conversation to boy friend . The mother send a clear message : can't impact the study and knowing how to protect yourself as a girl ... This is totally different from my scenario  :

-- Meilijg is not even talking to fruit 

-- we don't have quality time to really share our experience 

-- exchange of money become the communication platform 

   The books brought me back to my cheat and stealing youth : cheat fathers good friends and use his money to buy porn books . Stealing Uncle Tsai's money when work as part time help to sell shoes at police station , I never told anyone before -- it tattoo somewhere in my heart and now I disclose here and now !

Lost in old habit

In the middle of " shut up and play the hits " , I fall asleep and thinking about the old routine somewhere in shementing ! The movie / documentary is not attractive , there are only 4 audiences and I don't thinks the " 70 " plus senior citizen is really crash about the theme - a rock band's farewell concert ?

 Call and get the same reception, one hours recreation and calm down body and soul .... I don't really need a long term relationship !

  Success people will be define by one major failure he made -- this is the journalist who conduct interview work band leader or " LCD sound system ", fear of failure make many successful people hesitate to step out of his comfort zone !

 Career  education session at st statutes school is interesting , high school make it possible for the kids but it just don't work that way - I like the word teacher said : interest or passion is continuity ! Same as  " compassion " is compose with " kindness " and " empathy "

 Low blood pressure lead me to an early dinner . I am on my way for prepare my next week  

Water-Moon monastery

Sending sound to school , I make my Friday available for rest - Meilijg is happy to take the same routine with me !

Having milk fish congee at the corner vendor for breakfast , I told Meiling the first stop is : lung zen temple - now renovated to water - moon monastery ! It's an amazing construction , Chris Yao is good at zen ambience construction ! The little pond floating with lilies just in font of the main alter , give you peace and mindfulness . We visit the little house of Dong Tru - the teacher of seng yeng and told by the guide , the place is a zen recreation center and well build in the scenery - to have you connect with the nature and find your inner peace . Under the 36 degree weather , we felt peace and calm also

Meilijg didn't want to stop anywhere as she feel so hot yesterday , so we only drove on the road to tamsui - chi sen - San Chu and return to taipei via yang Ming mountain !

A peaceful day and I felt peacedul
