It's a big data - cloud computing company linda invest 2 millions usd and tried to utilized it's technology for her other investment: Jobs Tank - a high level advance search / recruiting platform she heavily believed.
I am invited to join the 3 months after presentation- demo session this morning .
I am not quite how this tech leverage can help jobs DB and my personal learning are :
1. When candidate sigh up for the services , he / she must uploaded and detailed in providing data & the client ( recruiter ) need to perform the same efforts too , to me it's an " non value added " action to both once reciting fails , how the so call " business intelligence " can be realized to revenue / profit .
2. On the job Search for job opportunities not really decided to leave current job ( what's the percentage " the mapping success rate is hard to justified its function.
3. Between the jobs : do they wish to honestly uploaded everything ( good and not so great ) personal information to the third party ?
4. Job fit is only one part in marriage the search : org fit and culture fit can't be identified here - how can this big plan have company such as gallop to support its cloud in " strength finder 2.0 " ?
5. Follow up and execution : who to lead / monitor and measure the project with good knowledge about : start up / investment/ data clouding / service offers
