The sales pitch to CKC wasn't on my priority agenda, but to fillful my obligation as founder of CSR and to support Kim / Celine, I nurge myself to this conversation and be there by 4:00 pm, for this, I have to cut the " Life Academey " sharing session, you know, the unexpected bump into Patrick was a good surprise, but I don't have time to chat with him. and another nurge is : Accompany Feng Ying to the sharing session - as no one from our family response a " OK ", SO, I have to push the buttom . to cluster the time we invested, I set the lunch appointment with Luis / Fen and Kevin, Kevin was stock at the Ko Yi Hui meeting and not able to join the meaningful lunch - this is the brief from lunch:
1. Fung point out the sustainable way for Himalaya Foundation is to carry on it's mission since day one of establishment : Intermediary for Foundations in Taiwan : information / international / intellgent development, it can easily cope with the new thems Mr. Han and Luis address : Woman leader / INGO development and leaders incubation.
2. Feng advise us not to use any of Mr. Han's personal agenda as the restart point as the foundation is aim for public good, should not insert any of the personal agenda. a very good advise.
3. Very careful about cross-strait relationship in any form of activity, it will easliy be lables...
we learn a lot from Feng and I thank her for her knowledge and candid feedback.
i Peer's meeting again is a waste of time, I am not sure the role I play is appropriate or not, maybe next week in Shanghai, we have better time to share then my decision should be made upon then.
Celine and Kim came into my office for the alignment of sale to CKC, she come out with a few slide, as smart as she was, but the believe is totally different from mine, as I learn from the Workshop Book - Consensue is not to get everyone in the room agree in one thing, but to " Move Forward Together " a team, a group, even a party. I learn it and I take it as the good insights and tatoo with me. Celine is now too push on finding her way to success, I am not sure If I sure follow every step she design, maybe not, but to do it the Life Academy way.
