David H called my up around 11:40 am and asked for a 20 minutes meeting, this is the action follow what he asked about my training program the night before. I pick up my notebook and enter his office.
yes, the flower decoration is different now, more elegent, and he still bail him way out of why he rather stayed in the office instead of ondering around, all the CEO / Chairman can easily rationalize his cause in what he favors. I am not here for debating, so, I am acting listening, only listening.
David asked about my plan - be a consultant / trainer of my own or to join any corp and return professional job. I response with the independant way, then he talked about the chance to work with Spirox as coach or consultant under the condition that Spriox executives ( James, Jacky..) is interested and avaliable for the coaching program.
David is right about the approach, first you have to let the coachee know this is a mental Yoga - it's strench your heart and soul, but not comfortable and you have to commite to, ths is a good selling point for me - to apply to other candidate. but I am not favor with following 2 suggestion:
1. join other training firm as guest trainer and have them to introduce client. the 2 persons he mentioned are from HP.
2. AS a regular trainer provide training cause to Spirox. for this, I will take it as the overall consulting package, if not favorable, I won't take it as the return it too low for me.
then he direct to the focal point, how he going to compensate at ,Spriox, I don't really care , to be honesty, but I will calculate in my heart, this is what everyone will do - I still recall what he said, if the overall compensation can't reach 2 millions NT. he will make it up from his own pocket, a very ugly person he is, he wipe out all the words he said and simply address how he going to do following company rule. I am fine, really, but won't treat him as friend anymore. anymore. if for this minor support , he reluctant to grant, what friendship is? a very terrible and practial person.
attending the only farewell lunch - from IT / HR / Procu / Admi. they book the Italian restaurant near by, as I told Annie, they gathering for the meal, I will pay the bill. it's good to share story about my Kenting trip, but not a good occation to coach these young turk how to work, they made their decison and now they must follow the rule.
a very short session with Anita, learn about Paul's leading style and Tony's situation in China.. well, it's Paul's call now. taking the 3:30 pm HSR back to Taipei and brining back tones of paper, for the following 3 days work in Taipei.
Going to 2 second run movie at Cha Cha - they are awful, really. the only benefit is the title " Something Bothered " it give my idea about designing a " Deepening connection " theme. the only good value from last night.
